Hi, I’m Julie, Your Instructor!

I founded Broche Ballet in 2017 to create a haven for adult dancers like myself who aspire to realize their ballet dreams.

Despite starting ballet at the age of 17, I was determined to be taken seriously and desired rigorous training to perform at a high level. Finding such a training environment was challenging, so after piecing together nearly 15 years of my training, I established Broche Ballet—the studio I always wished for but never had.

By 2020, Broche Ballet had expanded to three studio locations in Denver. However, the COVID-19 pandemic led to the permanent closure of our Denver operations. Despite this setback, our online program, born during the pandemic, is here to stay.

Our mission to help dancers with big dreams reach their full potential is stronger than ever, now with the ability to connect with dancers worldwide.

I would be honored to be a part of your ballet journey and help you become the dancer you dream of being.

Julie is just amazing! She is truly dedicated to each dancer being the best that they can be. Her technique tips are perfectly explained and so understandable for adults. This is the (online) place to go to improve your technique. I have taken years of classes in a big city at several studios, and while fun, my technique never really improved until I started taking classes with Julie. Yes, she gives great corrections over zoom! She is so upbeat and positive as well and really just brilliant at teaching ballet to adults.
